Pleasant Hill, California (February 17, 2012) – Change in dates!! Contra Costa Master Gardeners announces its first annual Great Tomato Plant Sale--Heirlooms of the World, to be held on three consecutive days, April 4 through 6, at the original Our Garden site, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek. This sale will feature over 30 heirloom varieties, many not available in nurseries. Click the event at right to set an event reminder!
Progress continues on "Our Garden Redux", so keep an eye out here for details. And, if you haven't already done so, be sure to look at the two new vegetable planting guides for coastal and interior locations of Contra Costa. Check them out here in our Edible Gardening section!
We continue to offer various lectures on Sustainable Gardening and other topics at public libraries across the county. A number of talks are currently scheduled over the next few months at several County libraries. The events calendar on this web site has details.
If we haven't yet been to your local library, ask your librarian or call our Help Desk to request a series.
