Plant Clinics

Haramrit Gill

Haramrit Gill is the newly appointed Environmental Horticulture Advisor for Tulare, Kings, Fresno, and Madera Counties. In her current capacity as an Environmental Horticulture Advisor, Haramrit's responsibilities revolve around identifying landscape plants that are heat-tolerant, disease-resistant, and fire-resistant. She harbors a strong interest in researching California native plants due to their sustainable attributes, which include superior adaptation, biodiversity enhancement, water efficiency, and soil health benefits. Please join us in welcoming Haramrit to UC ANR.

2025 Training Class to become a Master Gardener Volunteers

Fresno Master Gardeners are working on the 2025  training class to become a volunteer in the program. Training classes are offered in odd numbered years.

We will hold two informational meet and greet sessions for those interested in joining the program. The first will be on May 4 at Woodward Park Library from 10:00-11:30 and then on June 1 at the Garden of the Sun from 10:00-11:30. Come out and find out more about what Master Gardeners do.
