Member Stories
The Jersey cow originated from the island of Jersey which off the coast of France in the English Channel. Jersey cows weigh on average 750 to 800 pounds. The coat colors are various shades of fawn, mulberry, and white. Jerseys are good family cows and have the highest level of milk solids: protein, minerals, and vitamins, and have more butterfat than any other breed of dairy cows.
